Harrowing Encounter: California Woman Captures Disturbing Threat from White Man Wielding a Power Saw Amid Racially Charged Parking Argument

A man brandishing a power saw intimidated a Black woman searching for a parking space on Lodi Place in Hollywood, California. The suspect, who hurled racial epithets and damaged the woman's vehicle, remains at large, now facing battery charges. On May 13, the unidentified victim, seeking parking near the iconic Sunset and Vine intersection, confronted two men blocking the street. When she requested they move their truck, she was met with a barrage of slurs, as reported by KTLA 5. One man aggressively approached her vehicle, prompting her to defend herself with pepper spray. However, the encounter escalated when the assailant returned with a power saw and viciously attacked her car. Despite her fearful recording of the incident, law enforcement arrived too late to apprehend the suspect, who still eludes capture. The police are searching for a man aged fifty or older, approximately 5’5”, identified by distinct green eyes and a scar on his left middle finger.
