‘Toys’ Remanded On Firearm, Ammunition Charges

On Friday, March 1, 2024, about Police Officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department Vieux-Fort, Special Services Unit Vieux-Fort and the Southern Division’s Tactical Response Unit proceeded to the residence of Klent Parsad alias “Toys” in Cedar Heights, Vieux Fort.
A warrant to Search for Property was executed on the premises, leading to the discovery and seizure of one (1) 9mm pistol with an automatic fire selector switch and one (1) magazine containing fourteen (14) rounds of ammunition.
Klent Parsad was subsequently charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
He was escorted to the Second District Court for bail consideration, where he was remanded.
