Transforming Our Roads: A Permanent Solution for Better Travel

Pothole season has returned to Michigan, causing drivers anxiety over potential tire and rim damage. Having run for office in 2018 to address our notorious roads, I’m proud of our progress, yet much remains to be done. This year, let’s collaborate to establish sustainable solutions for safe driving and reduced costs.Road infrastructure is vital to our communities; poor conditions limit growth and increase commuting challenges. With only 18% of Wayne County roads rated “good,” action is imperative. Michigan requires continued investment in our infrastructure—past efforts have proven inadequate, and our economy’s health depends on it.
