Travis Hunter Sr., the father of Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter, has been arrested in Florida for violating probation. According to Palm Beach County records, Hunter Sr. was processed into custody on Tuesday due to a single charge of probation violation. Court documents reveal that on June 28, Hunter Sr. reportedly strayed too far from his electronic monitoring device for 11 minutes. Hunter Sr. purportedly explained that he was “moving too fast and forgot it.” An arrest warrant was issued on July 10.This incident arises while Hunter Sr. is serving probation stemming from allegations of gun and drug possession during a traffic stop earlier this year.
