Turning uncertainty into clarity when choosing your child’s school

(NewsUSA) – Over the past three years, 25 states have expanded school choice options, and families need accessible, straightforward information on how to access these choices. As we head into another school year, many parents are grappling with an important question: will my child be at the best school for them this fall? Choosing the right school is monumental for families, and a very different process than it was a generation ago. With a range of options – including traditional public, public charter, public magnet, private, online, home, and nontraditional choices – parents have a lot to consider as they find the best fit for their child’s education. & A recent survey from our organization – the National School Choice Awareness Foundation – showed that 72% of parents looked into new school options for their children last year, yet 64% wanted more detailed information.
