Two males sustained injuries after a car hit an electric pole at Free Gate, Praslin, on Monday. After learning of the incident at about 3:20 pm, Dennery Fire Station personnel found the driver standing at the roadside complaining of body pain. The passenger was lying on his side, complaining of hip pain. The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) said an assessment revealed a deformity in the passenger’s hip region. The emergency crew treated both patients and transported them to a medical facility for further medical care, leaving the scene in the care of the Dennery police.
