Two Men Convicted Of PnB Rock’s Death Receive Prison Sentences

The men who were convicted of PnB Rock’s murder have been sentenced to prison two years after his death. On Monday, September 23, Freddie Trone appeared in a L.A. courtroom where he was sentenced to 31 years to life in prison. He was convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery after he ordered his teenage son to rob and kill the rapper, born Rakim Allen. At the sentencing hearing, Allen’s mother and aunt spoke to the court before Trone was sentenced. “Rakim was a shining light in our lives,” Deanna Allen said. “He was a star to us. He was our Michael Jackson, and we are devastated.” Trone’s co-defendant Tremont Jones also received his sentence.
