DeAndre Calderon excelled in the singles segment of the men’s division at the 2025 Caribbean Regional Table Tennis Championships held in Barbados on Friday, leading his group. Manie Eleuthere also secured a spot in Saturday's Round of 32 at the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex. On Thursday, Calderon achieved victories over Kane Watson of Jamaica with a score of 3-0 (11-3, 1-8, 11-3) and Abit Tejada from the Dominican Republic, winning 3-1 (9-11, 11-5, 11-4, 11-5) in Group 13. He completed a clean sweep by defeating Barbados' Mikail Mark 3-0 (11-7, 11-1, 11-8). Calderon is set to compete against local player Antonio Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. on Table 2. Eleuthere, finishing second in Group 6, will face Tyrese Knight from Barbados at 4:45 p.m. on Table 4. Dawitt Nurse, securing third in Group 12, won one match and faced two losses, while Joshua Lubin struggled in Group 7 without a win.
