United Way California Capital Region has strengthened its dedication to the Collegiate Guaranteed Income Program, providing a $500 monthly stipend for two years to 20 former foster youth from Sacramento State and UC Davis. Initiated in 2024, this program seeks to ease financial pressures, facilitating timely graduation. Moreover, it offers mentorship and career opportunities. The initiative will also welcome an additional cohort of 10 students from UC Davis, further enriching support for their educational pursuits.
