The Museum of Graffiti is renowned for its celebration of urban art and recently, the institution announced a new pop-up exhibition called ‘Sneaker Stories.’ This event is presented by Modelo in Atlanta, GA, and Washington, D.C.
As a pioneer contemporary art museum, the Museum of Graffiti aims to educate and celebrate graffiti artists. The Sneaker Stories pop-up showcases eminal collaborations between graffiti artists and global brands like Nike and Adidas.
The traveling Sneaker Stories exhibition will explore the intersection of graffiti and sneaker culture while offering immersive experiences to guests. The first event took place at Ponce City Market in Atlanta from May 31 to June 2. The second will run at Union Market in Washington, D.C. from June 14 to June 16. The pop-up features informative displays and rare limited-edition sneakers displayed alongside original artworks by artists like Futura and Eric Haze.
