Alabama A&M University has established a new partnership with the United States Army Corps of Engineers to promote diversity in the field of civil and mechanical engineering. Through the partnership agreement, students studying engineering at Alabama A&M University will be provided with internship opportunities at the United States Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This collaborative effort aims to provide a pathway program for students to pursue careers with the Huntsville Center upon graduation. Students at Alabama A&M University will be updated about entry-level positions at the center as they become available. As their collaboration expands, the two institutions plan to introduce a similar partnership with the Huntsville Center and Alabama A&M University’s urban planning program.
