Vehicle Plunges Over Cliff At Anse La Raye – Four People Injured

Four people sustained injuries when a Suzuki Escudo plunged over a cliff at Anse La Verdure, Anse La Raye, on Sunday.
According to the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS), emergency personnel from its Castries Headquarters responded after receiving a call for assistance at about 5:35 pm.
On arrival, the responders learned that the Escudo had rolled over and landed at the bottom of a cliff approximately 15 feet.
According to a fire service release, the vehicle’s four occupants, aged 15, 18, 54 and 61, were able to exit the Escudo.
After that, the emergency responders assessed, treated, and transported them to a medical facility for further medical care.
Anse La Raye police station officers who also responded are investigating the incident.
