NASHVILLE –WeGo Public Transit saw an increase in passengers using routes near Nissan Stadium and an overall ridership increase system-wide after partnering with the Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT), Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), and the Tennessee Titans to provide closer, faster, free service on game days. System ridership was up more than 10 percent for the first home game and 18 percent for the second game. According to the Automated Passenger Count sensor system, an estimated 440 passengers used WeGo bus service to get to the stadium on September 22. The WeGo Star Titans Express had a sell out for both home games of 650 tickets each. The combined WeGo passenger count for the September 22 game was more than 1000. The Tennessee Titans and WeGo will continue to offer the free fare days for the rest of the regular season Titans home games. Fans can also travel to the game on the WeGo Star Titans Express.
