(Dallas City Council) – Greetings and Happy Summer! From July 1 through Aug. 1, the Dallas City Council will recess from the horseshoe business on Wednesdays. However, the day-to-day district operations will continue as usual. Budget season is on us and community meetings virtually and in person are planned and budget planning teams are busy. When the council returns in August, we will receive recommendations on the fiscal year 2024-25 budget.This month, I am sharing information regarding the budget process because I believe it is important for us to understand the work to determine the monies necessary to operate the city of Dallas and the value of public input.Related Stories
