White Republican attacks Black EPA chief, labels him as ‘criminal’

Clay Higgins took to X, formerly Twitter, to attack Regan, the first Black EPA chief, over new chemical plant regulations. The latest chemical emission rules affect roughly 200 facilities, including ones in Higgins’ district, which covers Lousiana’s largely rural southwest corner. “This EPA criminal should be arrested the next time he sets foot in Louisiana.
