Parents Furious Over Report Conductor Told Alabama Kids To Crawl Under Train Tracks

An Alabama father vividly recalled the harrowing experience of witnessing his two children and four others crawling beneath a train after the conductor instructed them to do so. This alarming incident transpired on November 5 at a train crossing near a school bus stop in Mardisville, as reported by WVTM.Leon Estelle, along with other parents, was positioned on one side of the tracks waiting for their children when a train halted. As the school bus arrived, the driver released the kids. Initially assuming they would have to wait for the train to pass, Estelle was shocked to see children emerge from underneath the train.“The conductor told them to go under,” he explained, expressing grave concern over the potential consequences. Another parent shared her disbelief, noting that it could have led to tragic outcomes if the train had moved.The episode has sparked considerable outrage online, with numerous individuals criticizing both the conductor and the bus driver’s decisions. School district officials have since put the bus driver on administrative leave.
