Young Thug Trial: YSL Defendant Sues Over Jail Conditions

Young Thug‘s YSL trial continues to have ramifications even after its end, as one of Thug’s co-defendants, Shannon Stillwell, is suing Fulton County, Georgia authorities due to his alleged treatment while in Fulton County Jail.
The suit was filed in federal court on December 10, a week after Stillwell was found guilty of one single charge and sentenced to time served and probation. According to Fulton County records, Stillwell was released from jail on December 17.

Stillwell’s legal action, filed with fellow prisoner Nkenegen Hambrick, is a class action suit, meaning it is filed on behalf of anyone who is, has been or will be detained in the facility. It is against Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat and the county’s chief jailer John Jackson.
The lawsuit claims that conditions at the jail are “cruel and unusual” and violate prisoners’ Constitutional rights.
