Zani Lady C eyes Grammys, submits Komawo song

Singer Zani Lady C’s giving a break on movies to focus on music must be paying back. In December last year, the singer returned to Uganda from the US where she’s an actress in Hollywood to settle in her homeland and do some music before returning to the US. While in Uganda, Zani Lady C caught up with singer Nince Henry and they worked on several projects that included Nzembiteleza, Nindako, Komawo and Maria.
Zani Lady C and her management team submitted Komawo and if all goes well, it will be considered for the 67th Grammy Awards. The nominations for the 67th Grammy’s will take place on November 8th and the awards ceremony will take place next year on February 2nd at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. After submitting the song, Zani has asked her fans in Uganda and those scattered in different parts of the world to support her to get the song nominated in the category for the Best African Music Performance in the 67th Prestigious Grammy Awards.
