Conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center, it reveals that approximately 40% of Americans endorse DEI programs, while 30% express opposition or neutrality. Notably, support is stronger for specific measures, such as racism education and scholarships for marginalized students. Interestingly, despite 60% of Republicans opposing DEI broadly, their resistance wanes for more specific aspects. For instance, about 50% of Republicans disapprove of racism courses. In contrast, 70% of Democrats advocate for DEI programs.
