Atlanta's 1-0 advantage came in the seventh minute due to an own-goal by Yeimar, initiated by Emmanuel Latte Lath's forward charge. Despite earlier wins, the team struggled to maintain their lead, reflecting on past vulnerabilities, notably losing a 1-0 edge against Charlotte FC.
