The event will take place at the Legendary Apollo Theater on Sunday, August 18th at 12 PM, followed by an exciting Q&A session with Freeman and cast members. The screening marks the culmination of Freeman’s year-long campaign for his documentary, which was created as a tribute to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop music. Hip-Hop, born on August 11, 1973, has profoundly influenced global culture for half a century.
