Biden Hosting First-Of-Its-Kind Black Excellence Brunch At White House

According to reports, Biden is set to host a “Brunch in Celebration of Black Excellence” on the South Lawn at the White House. The first-of-its-kind event is dedicated to the Black community’s extensive contributions to American culture and history. “We’re thrilled to be hosting the first-ever Celebration of Black Excellence at The White House. It is yet another example of the work President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have put in since Day One to honor the community through actions that have not just lowered the barriers to opportunity but promoted greater paths to excellence for Black Americans across the country,” Stephen Benjamin, Biden’s Senior Advisor and Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, said in a statement. “Due to the efforts of the Biden-Harris Administration, Black unemployment hit historic lows, Black net worth is up 60% since the pandemic, and Black entrepreneurs are establishing small businesses at rates not seen in 30 years,” Benjamin added.
