Saint Lucia concluded its participation in Americas Group III of the Billie Jean King Cup with a sixth-place finish after an intense week in Santa Tecla, El Salvador. Competing as a four-member squad, they played through four ties, achieving one victory and suffering three defeats, securing a return to Group III for another year. Team captain Stacey Roheman expressed her pride in the team’s performance, hinting at ambitions for 2026. “It was an incredible experience overall,” she shared with St. Lucia Times. “This was my first time partaking in the event. The competition was fierce, yet we persevered through each match. I eagerly anticipate next year.” Saint Lucia reached the 4-6th place playoffs following a win against Panama, alongside a loss to Uruguay, with the latter finishing second overall behind The Bahamas. In playoffs, they succumbed 2-1 to Cuba, where individual match results saw Jessica Eudovic triumph before falling in doubles alongside Roheman.
