Butler University Unveils Founder’s College: Pioneering Debt-Free Degree Opportunities

Butler University has announced the opening of its newly renovated space for the innovative Founder’s College, debuting in August. This pioneering two-year program aims to assist low-wealth students in obtaining debt-free associate degrees, with pathways to affordable four-year degrees, funded entirely through private donations including a significant $2.5 million from Marian Glick and Mike Woods. Historically inclusive since its 1855 founding by Ovid Butler, the university supports graduates in transitioning to four-year programs with reduced financial burdens, targeting recent high school graduates and offering diverse majors.
