Match day one of the Babonneau T20 Cricket League commenced on Sunday with two exhilarating matches held at the Des Barras Playing Field. In the first encounter, Cacoa triumphed over La Guerre by 33 runs. Cacoa initiated the fireworks after winning the toss, amassing an impressive total of 252 runs for 2 in just 20 overs. The opening duo, Jehan Boodha (84 off 35) and Amari Venner (36 off 29), forged a blistering 120-run partnership. Ryan Goodman (68 off 37) and Sacchin Cepal (43 off 22) continued the onslaught. Only Bradley Marquis and Stanley Cherry could capture a wicket each for La Guerre.
