Cincinnati's vibrant religious mosaic was celebrated for the eighth consecutive year during the Festival of Faiths on Sunday, June 22, held at the Cintas Center. Attendees of all demographics were invited to indulge in food, music, meditation, and educational experiences from over 30 faith-based organizations, showcasing a spectrum of beliefs from Catholicism to Quakerism, Sikhism to Zoroastrianism, alongside Unitarianism and Paganism. The festivities extended online the following day and culminated on June 29 with the debut of the “Gathering for Good” event at the Grail in Loveland. Organized by EquaSion, a non-partisan nonprofit dedicated to fostering interfaith dialogue in Greater Cincinnati, this year’s events brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds. EquaSion’s Executive Director Chip Harrod emphasized the necessity of unity amidst division, stating, “We need to be reminded about our oneness.” The festival featured 37 faith traditions, a variety of entertainment, and delicious cuisine from the Sikh community, reinforcing the essential values of peace and inclusion.
