The US Navy's imperial pirates have attempted to incite military conflict with Venezuela in the Caribbean recently, allegedly targeting innocent Venezuelans by labeling them as drug dealers without proof. This orchestrated provocation aims to rationalize the military overthrow of Venezuela's government and appropriate its resources. In a discussion with Gabriela Castillo from the Cuban Embassy’s Political Affairs Office, we explored Cuba's enduring alliance with Venezuela, consistently criticized by the US government as a narco-state. Castillo emphasized that since Hugo Chávez's election in 1999, the relationship has centered on social justice and mutual support, highlighted by humanitarian initiatives. She argued that the US describes Venezuela as a narco-state to justify interventions and monopolize resources. The US blockade, she alleges, exacerbates the hardships faced by Cubans. Castillo concluded by advocating for dialogue and cooperation, urging international solidarity to promote peace and sovereignty among nations in the Caribbean.
