The Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is pleased to share details for this year’s annual Gala. The black-tie event will take place on Saturday, September 28 and features a cocktail reception, elegant seated dinner sponsored by Charles Schwab, a concert sponsored by Capital One led by Music Director Fabio Luisi and the DSO with special guest Lang Lang in his first appearance with the orchestra since the 2016 DSO Gala. The legendary pianist will perform Rachmaninoff’s expressively virtuosic Second Piano Concerto. Following the concert, guests will enjoy an After-Party Experience sponsored by Charles Schwab Bank with savories, desserts and dancing. Patrick Means and Laura Harris-Means will serve as Co-Chairs alongside Honorary Chairs Cassandra and Avery Johnson. The Gala is the DSO’s largest annual fundraising event, benefiting the orchestra’s education and community outreach initiatives.  Patrick Means and Laura Harris-Means are co-chairs for this year’s gala. “The DSO Gala is an incredible evening of celebration and music in support of our Young Musicians and other education programs.
