Since May 29, relentless rain has triggered floods that devastated entire communities, damaging critical infrastructure and severely disrupting local economies.With Nigeria's rainy season lasting until October, the country faces heightened vulnerability to flooding, exacerbated by climate change. UN agencies, including WHO and IOM, are mobilizing resources for medical aid and temporary shelters, while UNFPA establishes safe spaces for women’s health services. Mohammed M.
