Eddie Brock’s Ultimate Universe Fate Teased in Ultimate Spider-Man #12 Preview

On Earth-616, Eddie Brock eventually made his peace with Spider-Man. However, for many years, as one-half of Venom, Brock was one of his greatest enemies. Things are apparently different in the Ultimate Universe, as Ultimate Spider-Man #12 suggests that Eddie and Peter Parker are good friends. Written by Jonathan Hickman, with art by Marco Checchetto, Ultimate Spider-Man #12 opens on a holiday party at the Parker house. Ben Parker and J. Jonah Jameson are late to arrive, with Richard Parker warning them of potential family drama. In the midst of this, he casually mentions that “Mr. and Mrs. Brock couldn’t make it,” This would seem to be a pretty clear tease of Eddie Brock and Peter being close enough to spend Christmas together.
