He reproached the lawmakers supporting the bill, declaring, “You know you did wrong.” His remarks included dire warnings about the nation’s financial stability and a rallying cry: “In November next year, we fire all politicians who betrayed the American people.” Reports indicate that White House officials were surprised by Musk’s public condemnation. Although he previously engaged with GOP senators, his current position was unforeseen. House Speaker Mike Johnson expressed disapproval of Musk's comments, asserting that the bill's advantages surpass the criticisms. Despite Musk's apprehensions, Senate Majority Leader John Thune remains dedicated to advancing the legislation.
