Homework with Heart: Faith in Learning

At various points in this space, I've shared my journey to articulate the nature of work intertwined with the faith of a redeemed Christian. I regard faith as an active force for believers. It prompts action, inherently guiding a devoted follower of Jesus. My struggle often lies in discerning my specific calling—whether it's choosing a church, engaging in ministry, or selecting a pastor to follow. When I seek divine direction, God consistently reminds me that these questions stem from my concerns rather than His. What truly matters is serving others in His name. Instead of fixating on the path ahead, I should seek opportunities to serve and share His message.I've come to recognize that when I experience confusion about my actions, I'm allowing spiritual disarray to take hold. When I prioritize personal decisions over divine guidance, I become immobilized. Prayer must precede all actions, yielding to God’s will. The essence of being a Christian lies in surrendering to God, who promises clarity and purpose along our journey.
