Umontuen/The Atlanta Voice The Colombian Government and The Global Black Economic Forum will host nearly 400 representatives and business leaders from across Colombia and the U.S. at the first U.S.-Colombia Binational Summit for Afro descendant Leaders. This is a two-day event series that will confront shared challenges and opportunities in entrepreneurship, pro-democracy, and culture and entertainment. The event aims to elevate the partnership between Colombians of African descent and Americans, framing a collective future of mutual growth and advancement. Emphasizing efficiency and accessibility, all summit activities will be centralized at The Gathering Spot. Other institutions involved locally include the Atlanta University Center, facilitating student participation and enriching the impact of the summit, as well as several Historically Black Universities in the region. Anticipating 500-600 individuals attending, the public event promises to be a grand affair, potentially followed by a VIP meeting, offering an exclusive space for networking and high-level discussions.
