Keyshawn Johnson, a former NFL wide receiver, has launched a lawsuit against agent Chris Ellison, seeking nearly $1 million in damages. Johnson argues that he had a previous accord with Ellison, where he would receive compensation for facilitating connections between NFL players and the agent. This lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on May 23, asserts that Johnson was responsible for recruiting players for Ellison. The complaint names four players: Mike Hughes of the Atlanta Falcons, Jaylon Johnson of the Chicago Bears, Romeo Doubs from the Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers’ Deommodore Lenoir. Johnson contends Ellison promised him a third of the 3% commission derived from each player’s earnings, totaling $962,335. Ellison has refuted these claims, as reported by TMZ Sports.
