Celebrate Freedom: Join the Complimentary Juneteenth Festivities at the Indiana State Museum

The Indiana State Museum is inviting everyone to join in the celebration of Juneteenth with a day full of activities and free admission on June 21. This annual gathering honors the liberation of enslaved individuals in the United States, which transpired post-Civil War. On this significant day, all Indiana State Museum locations will grant complimentary access, with the Indianapolis site at White River State Park welcoming guests from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festivities will revolve around the theme "History, Health, and the Arts." Attendees can interact with museum curators and examine artifacts that reflect Indiana's historical narrative, while live performances will include vibrant dancers, skilled drummers, and musicians.
