"Get Screened: Metro Public Health Department Offers Free STI Tests for Awareness Week"

NASHVILLE, Tenn. April 15, 2025 – Free STI screenings will be available at the Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) on April 17th and 18th, coinciding with STI Awareness Week, which runs from April 13th to 19th. “Our mission is to combat the spread of STIs through testing and treatment,” stated Dr. Sanmi Areola, Health Director. Walk-ins are welcomed from 7:30 am to 3 pm at the Lentz Public Health Center, with a lunch break from noon to 1 pm. Immediate treatment is available for positive results.
