A spectacular new nighttime holiday exhibit in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park is captivating both children and adults alike, showcasing music, vibrant colors, and over a million shimmering lights. The mile-long (1.6-kilometer) illuminated path within the city’s Botanical Garden features towering peonies and fields of glimmering lights. Artists have crafted enchanting water lilies and oversized dragonflies, even transforming a Canary Island strawberry tree into a radiant spectacle. “Some of my favorite feedback comes from kids, sharing how it brings them joy and excitement,” remarked Sarah Marsh from Gardens of Golden Gate Park. “Seeing their reactions as they experience the trail is truly special.” The Lightscape trails, mirroring similar exhibits in Chicago, Brooklyn, and London, represent San Francisco's inaugural foray. The collaboration involving Sony Music and Culture Creative customizes the holiday trail for each garden. With sellout crowds and over 100,000 visitors expected by January 4, the exhibit aims to spark curiosity and wonder.
