LaShannon Spencer has been appointed as vice president of governmental affairs at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She previously served as a regional executive with the American Hospital Association and was CEO of Community Health Centers of Arkansas. Dr. Spencer earned her degrees from various institutions, including a Ph.D. in leadership. Meanwhile, A.L. Fleming has taken on the role of vice president of advancement and alumni affairs at Tuskegee University after a successful tenure at Kenan-Flagler Business School. Virginia Teachey is now vice chancellor for business and finance at North Carolina A&T State University, transitioning from Penn State. Lastly, Elvin Parker returns to Alcorn State as interim vice president of finance.
