Historically Black Paul Quinn College in Dallas Establishes Partnership with City Year AmeriCorps

City Year, a member organization of AmeriCorps focused on developing diverse leaders through educational volunteer service, has partnered with historically Black Paul Quinn College in Dallas to make higher education more accessible for City Year AmeriCorps affiliates. The new partnership will allow City Year AmeriCorps members to attend Paul Quinn College with a direct pathway to the college’s Corporate Work Program, which provides students with the opportunity to participate in corporate internships that minimize their reliance on student loans. The City Year members enrolled in the Corporate Work Program can receive up to four years of corporate work experience with up to $18,000 in scholarships per year. “We are proud to be City Year’s first HBCU partner as we share a dedication to creating opportunities for diverse groups of individuals to thrive in America’s workforce,” said Dr. Michael J.
