Dr. Walter B. Gonsoulin Jr. of Jefferson County Honored as National Superintendent of the Year

Jefferson County Schools’ Dr. Walter B. Gonsoulin Jr. has been honored as the National Superintendent of the Year by AASA, marking a historic win for Alabama. He credits the achievement to the collective efforts of the school community. A $10,000 award will benefit a local high school student.
