John Legend slammed former President Donald Trump as a “racist” amid his reelection bid. During a conversation with MSNBC’s Jen Psaki on Sunday (April 21), Legend cited Trump’s response to Black Lives Matter protestors following the murder of George Floyd in 2020. “When we protested the killing of George Floyd, he was advocating for the military to shoot us in the streets,” Legend said. “He has made it clear throughout his life that he believes Black people are inferior.
