Indiana Black Expo has announced a star-studded lineup of entertainment and events& ahead of the 40th annual Circle City Classic.& &
Jacob Latimore, actor and R&B recording artist, has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the Circle City Classic Parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 in downtown Indy.&
“We are honored to have Jacob Latimore serve as the Grand Marshal for the 40th Circle City Classic Parade,” said Alice Watson, president and CEO of Indiana Black Expo, Inc. “His talent, passion and commitment to excellence make him an inspiration for young people everywhere. We look forward to celebrating his achievements and contributions during this milestone event.”&

The Major Taylor Award, named after Indianapolis cyclist Marshall Walter “Major” Taylor, will be awarded at the Circle City Classic Coaches Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 27 at Lucas Oil Stadium. This award is presented to a Black athlete, coach, athletics administrator or official who has “made significant local and national contributions to youth while also encouraging excellence in future generations.”&
