Kennedy Heights Arts Center is marking a significant milestone as it celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special event on May 9, and an endowment campaign.
Growing from a grassroots neighborhood movement to a vibrant, multidisciplinary organization serving more than 10,000 people annually, the nonprofit community arts center is known for its commitment to diversity and making the arts accessible for everyone.
The public is invited to “Cheers to 20 Years,” a special event on May 9, at 6 p.m. at Kennedy Heights Arts Center’s Lindner Annex, 6620 Montgomery Road.
This milestone celebration will honor KHAC’s rich history and profound impact on the community over the past two decades.
The event, hosted by Tiana Henry of WCPO-Channel 9, will feature presentations, testimonials and performances by students showcasing KHAC’s transformative influence.
A special exhibition in the Lindner Gallery will feature work by 20 artists who were instrumental in shaping the Arts Center. A silent auction of 20 original ceramic plates created by 10 Cincinnati artists — & the traditional 20th anniversary gift is china! — & are additional elements of the celebration.
Tickets for “Cheers to 20 Years” are free but required for entry, available at...
