Kimberly Enard, an associate professor in the College for Public Health and Social Justice at Saint Louis University in Missouri, has been honored with the 2024 John D. Thompson Prize from the Association of University Programs for Health Administration. She is the first African-American to receive the award since its establishment in 1991. The prize recognizes faculty who have made outstanding contributions to the field of health administration education. Dr. Enard has been on the Saint Louis University faculty since 2014. In addition to serving as an associate professor, she is the director of the master of health administration degree program, executive director of the Heartland Center, and president-elect of the College for Public Health and Social Justice faculty assembly.
