For the second occasion this year, Aasia Laurencin has shattered the Saint Lucia national record, achieving the feat three times in consecutive weekends. The 22-year-old hurdler, donning her Motor City Track Club gear by New Balance, clocked an impressive 13.02 seconds at the 115th Drake Relays. Competing against formidable athletes, she demonstrated her prowess, finishing fourth behind notable competitors like Masai Russell. Laurencin's remarkable journey includes surpassing the previous national record repeatedly, alongside aspirations to represent Saint Lucia at the Tokyo World Championships.
