Leadership Indianapolis will host its popular annual Get on Board event,presented by AES Indiana, to connect interested individuals with local nonprofits lookingfor board, committee and volunteer talent. The event will take place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. June 25 at Newfields. Participants can meet directly with more than 100 organizations to find a perfect fit for their skills and talents. “Get on Board creates meaningful connections between talented individuals and nonprofit organizations in need of what they have to offer,” said Beth Perdue Outland, vice president of Leadership Indianapolis. “This event connects and mobilizes communityleaders to serve and strengthen greater Indianapolis.” Get on Board Success Stories: Bruce Garrison is the CEO of Patchwork Indy, a nonprofit that works with the manycultural communities who now call Indiana home.
