The African American Leadership Institute is set to host the fourth annual Black X Conference at Austin’s Long Center for Performing Arts on June 27.This year’s focal point, “Leading Through Legacy,” emphasizes the dynamic potential of leadership grounded in cultural heritage, community ties, and collective impact. The full-day program will include impactful keynotes, engaging breakout sessions, and excellent networking avenues—aimed at uplifting and inspiring African American professionals and advocates throughout Texas.Dr. Steve Perry, a distinguished education visionary and founder of Capital Preparatory Schools, will kick off the conference with the morning keynote address.
