A man from Western Australia is facing murder charges after reportedly stabbing a woman to death and discarding her body in the ocean. The remains of 25-year-old Helen Jeremy Solomon Marsuck were found on December 4, 2022, by a fisherman at Success Boat Harbour, located in South Fremantle. Authorities revealed that Marsuck suffered 16 penetrating sharp force injuries.Following the discovery of her body, 23-year-old Muhammad Abdur Rehman Mirza was charged with a single count of murder related to an incident that allegedly transpired on December 1, 2022. Prosecutors assert that Mirza lured Marsuck to his residence under the pretext of providing drugs and sex. Initially, he claimed that a drug dealer had assaulted both him and Marsuck, resulting in his injuries. However, during a clandestine conversation with an undercover agent, Mirza purportedly confessed to the crime, asserting it was self-defense. The prosecution posits that he concealed Marsuck's body in his bathroom for several days before ultimately disposing of it at sea. This case is still ongoing in the WA Supreme Court.
