Tragic Shooting Incident: Man Killed Outside Piarco Airport Arrivals Area

TRINIDAD – In a shocking incident shortly after his arrival from Panama, a 38-year-old man from Maraval was fatally shot on Thursday morning. Arkim Quash landed at Piarco International Airport around 2 am. After being picked up in a blue Hyundai Tucson, assailants in a silver Nissan Tiida opened fire, injuring another nearby man. Despite prompt medical attention, Quash succumbed to his injuries at Arima Hospital. Investigators recovered multiple shell casings from the scene. The Region II Homicide Unit is pursuing the case.
