The XXXVIII CARIFTA Aquatic Championships kicked off with an impressive performance from Team Saint Lucia, securing three medals and personal bests. Sapphire Parks shone brightly, earning a silver and bronze in her debut. Competing at the National Aquatic Centre in Trinidad and Tobago, Parks excelled in the 100m butterfly and 200m breaststroke. Antoine Destang claimed silver in the 100m butterfly.
